Set up shop in the hollow.
Three juried festival weekends a year, more than 180 booths of art, handmade craft, antiques, and food — promoted on TV, radio, social media, and the web, and drawing crowds to Springville since 1982.
Mark your deadlines
Applications close about a month before each festival. After the deadline, a $50 late fee applies — and booths go fast.
Mailing your application instead? It must be postmarked at least 4 weeks before the festival. Vendor entrance GPS: 100 Bradford Road, Springville — not the mailing address.
The price of a spot
Every booth is 12 feet deep. Pick your width, add what you need, and pay mailing a check to Homestead Hollow.
Every show is juried
We keep the Hollow handmade. Applications are approved on the strength of the work — and the work at your booth must match your photos.
Sell only your own handmade or hand-decorated work. That one rule is what has kept people coming back to the Hollow for more than forty years.
Applications are judged on four things — creativity, quality, originality, and booth display. Only juried, approved items may be sold at your booth.
Buy/sell items are allowed only if they complement your handmade work and make up 10% or less of your merchandise or booth space. Artists may sell prints of their own original works, and antique or vintage pieces are welcome as-is if they are in good condition and pre-1980 — metal, wood, glass, fabric, or paper.
Ten jury photos
Clear, well-lit images. Mail prints or quality photocopies — they are kept on file and not returned.
Rules of the row
The short version of what keeps festival weekends running smooth. The full rules are in the 2026 Vendor Guide.
Check-In & Set-Up
Wednesday 1–6 pm and Thursday 9 am–6 pm for everyone; Friday 6–7:30 am for returning vendors only. Every booth fully set by 8:30 Friday morning. At check-in you will get your booth assignment, booth card, arm bands, and parking pass.
Your Tent
Solid white, off-white, or tan only — no dark, bright, or multi-colored tents. Keep the booth neat, storage out of view, and nothing past your booth boundaries.
Be There, Be Open
Vendors stay the whole festival and keep open during all festival hours — opening late or closing early ends your participation for the event and any following events. Vehicles out of the craft area by 8:30 each morning.
Camping & Security
RV sites have water, sewer, and 50-amp service (bring an adapter if you need one); campsites are assigned at check-in. Security is on the grounds Thursday through Saturday nights. No pets in the vendor section during the festival.
Rain or Shine
The Hollow is an outdoor event. In prolonged or severe weather the festival may delay, close early, or cancel — no refunds. Follow Homestead Hollow on Facebook for updates. Venders are expected to keep up with weather conditions.
Taxes & Licenses
Vendors charge, collect, and remit city, county, and state sales tax — forms are emailed with your acceptance letter. No Springville city license is needed; for the Alabama State Privilege License, call the St. Clair County Compliance Officer, Gary Hanner, at (205) 594-2116.
